Lavish Body and Home sought to become the delicate occupant of the former Stohr and Fister furniture store, an iconic staple during Scranton’s glamorous past. It required finding the right balance between respecting the volume and character of this century old retail corner and the need for defined space to support the various functions of the business.

The result is a mix of minimal insertions that seek to delineate space, support the salon and spa functions, and maximize visibility inward from the street and within the space for clients and staff.
