A’tera

A’tera

A’tera brings a new rhythm to downtown Scranton, reshaping a former early-1900s car dealership into a modern dining space with an easy sense of elegance. What was once a dark nightclub has been transformed into a warm, intimate interior—anchored by clean lines, tactile materials, and a layout that guides guests naturally through the experience. The front dining room frames Courthouse Square with oversized bifold doors, a linear fireplace, and a ceiling detailed like a quiet piece of sculpture.

At the heart of the restaurant, the wrap-around bar acts as its own gathering point—fluid, social, and always in motion. Custom banquettes, back-lit columns, and a mix of crystal and circular chandeliers cast a soft, atmospheric glow across the space, layering light in a way that feels both modern and familiar. Greenery threads through the black-and-gold palette, giving the interior a calm, organic counterpoint.
